The main
raw materials used include natural and synthetic rubber, canvas,
fillers and rubber chemicals. These are weighed according to
the different formulae set for the different types of belts.
Step
2 : Compounding
This is
then transferred into the mixer for blending.
Step
3 : Calender
Sheeting
Compounded
rubber is then fed into the calender machine for shaping.
Step
4 : Splicing
Rubber sheets
are spliced to the required lengths and soldered.
Step
5 : Building
Soldered
rubber sheets are wound with high tenacity polyester material
and cut into belt pieces.
Step
6 : Ring Mould Curing
Raw belts
are moulded and vulconised.
Step
7 : Press Curing
Longer length
belts are "pressed" using steam pressure.
Step
8 : Finishing
Each belt
is individually inspected for quality control.
